Role of the Conference in Economic Growth
Among his efforts to contribute to economic growth, Dr. Gamal Elkenany participated in the 57th Periodic Conference of Specialized Qualitative Arab Federations, held in June 2023, and organized by the Arab Economic Unity Council in Amman, Jordan. The conference’s mission is to support the role of exhibitions and conferences in supporting the economic growth and development of Arab countries.
The conference brought together several key figures and officials, such as the President of the Jordanian Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez; the Minister of Awqaf in Jordan, Mrs. Kholoud Al-Saqqaf; and the President of the Private Hospitals Association in Jordan, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri. The discussions focused largely on leveraging the power of exhibitions to stimulate economic activity and attract investments.
Dr. Gamal Elkenany’s Contributions
Dr. Gamal Elkenany, Chairman of the Agricultural Committee of the Arab Women Investors Union, emphasized the importance of attending this event along with other CEOs of major local and international companies. Leveraging his economic expertise, he engaged in discussions with other industry leaders on developing strategic initiatives and international cooperation to contribute to the development of the Arab region in all aspects.
Dr. Elkenany expressed gratitude for such conferences for discussing critical issues including Arab food security, climate change, the Arab digital economy, and cybersecurity. Furthermore, they discussed economic growth issues related to the activities of Arab organizations and federations. He added that the role of these entities is critical in the next phase to keep pace with the sustainable development plan in all its economic, social, and environmental aspects.
